Today the Homebuilding and Renovating Show’s flagship three-day event at the NEC in Birmingham is well and truly underway.
The second in a series of eight exhibitions in total, the Homebuilding and Renovating Show 2019 will be held in venues right across the country, taking in locations that range from Somerset in the south-west corner of England to Edinburgh further north-east in Scotland.
After a successful run of shows in 2018, we’re delighted to see the return of the event this year, which champions the particularly-British love of our homes and innate desire to make them indeed, as the old saying goes, our very own castle.
Over the past thirty years, we’ve been helping our customers realise their homebuilding and home renovation dreams with our expertise in the design, production and installation of glass reinforced plastic features including cladding, dormers and dovecotes.
So we very much welcome the exciting opportunity that the Homebuilding and Renovation Show offers customers, with a wealth of exhibitors’ stands and seminars on specialist subjects such as how to navigate the “planning permission maze” and a self-build special.
There’s even an advice centre and the chance to have a free, fifteen-minute consultation with an architect to help you on your path to turning your ideas into plans.
Having been in the business for so long, our experience in working with architects and contractors at all stages of projects allows work to run smoothly and help to keep unnecessary costs down.
And we can provide both standard and bespoke applications which enables us to deliver any scale and complexity of work, giving you and your architect the flexibility to choose the perfect design for you.
With fire-safety very much in the public’s consciousness, we can make all of our products from a special, fire-resistant glass reinforced plastic. Our fire-retardant cladding, for example, is particularly popular for home renovation work and can be created to replicate most other materials, including the ever-popular timber and stone. Glass Reinforced Plastic cladding allows for all of the aesthetic and protective properties of the more traditional equivalent but without the same maintenance demands. With better protection against fire and being significantly lighter than the organic materials, glass reinforced plastic cladding makes for a reliable, durable and environmentally-sound alternative.
If last year’s Homebuilding and Renovating Show is anything to go by, there will also be the opportunity to get a first glimpse of the latest innovations in products and design, with thousands of exhibitors invited to showcase their wares for you to look at and compare. With our commitment to innovation, we’re excited to see what’s on offer this year and are looking forward to using our state-of-the-art design technology to stay right at the forefront as industry specialists.
We're very much hoping you get the opportunity to visit one of the exhibitions, be inspired by all the Homebuilding and Renovating Show has to offer and return brimming with ideas for your own project. If so, tell us all about it and get in touch with us to help turn your home into your castle.
